Stacked is a small breakfast restaurant located on 5273 W 95th St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. It is a local spot and is great to stop in and check out. It’s open everyday from 6:00AM-3:00PM. There is free Wi-Fi, free parking, kid-friendly, they serve takeout, and they accept credit cards. The only issue is that they are always packed and the wait is about thirty to forty minutes. It is a small restaurant so your seating is close to others. I recommend going when it opens because it’s less crowded than going an hour before it closes.

I recommend the max people you take is four. There aren’t many seats and tables only seat up to four people, including the booths. The menu is huge and there are many meals to choose from. I recommend getting breakfast rather than lunch. It’s all up to your taste buds, mine are more sweet than salty.

You should start off with the soups, they have creme of chicken, greek lemon and mushroom, etc. I recommend you try the greek lemon as it’s my favorite. Its white rice with lemon-flavored soup. If you don’t like lemon, I would recommend the creme of chicken. It’s thick and greatly paired with the complimentary bread and butter.

My top item for breakfast is their banana bread french toast. This dish is served with three pieces of banana bread topped with bananas, whipped cream, and sweet syrup. I get it with hot chocolate and a side of white toast with butter.

My second choice would be the skillet filled with scrambled eggs, sausage, mushrooms, ground beef, and green peppers.

My third choice would be the red velvet french toast with three pieces of red velvet bread topped with sweet syrup. For lunch, you should try the roast beef on rye bread that comes with a side of fries.

The best part of the menu is the breakfast, but I understand if you want to venture to try lunch. If you love pancakes, one option that I would recommend is the strawberry cheesecake. Its sugar overload multiple stacked pancakes topped with whipped cream, strawberry syrup, and bits of cheesecake.

The service is great even though it’s always busy; the waitress and or waiter comes around and asks consistently how everything is. Make sure to ask for napkins, there isn’t a dispenser on the table. If you don’t like your food or you’re uncomfortable with the table, don’t hesitate to ask, they will help you.

The bathrooms are pretty clean and small with there only being two stalls with one sink. The owner is so sweet she witnessed a boy was throwing up and she gave him a t-shirt. The employees are caring and want you to have the best experience possible. I recommend you avoid going on the weekends and go during the week for the best possible experience.

It’s a place you don’t want to miss out on. It’s one of the best breakfast joints in the area. If you don’t want to wait there is a McDonald’s down the street, breakfast is 24-7.
