Greetings from your Student Government Association!

Here at SGA we have been working hard to follow up on any suggestions you have had for us. Here is what we have been working on so far:

WIFI
The SGA has recently heard complaints about the WIFI around campus being inconsistent and relatively slow. We have been in contact with IT regarding this issue and are working on getting this matter resolved in a timely manner.

COMMUTER WEEK
We would like to thank everyone for their participation in Commuter Appreciation Week. We are aware that there were complaints about the SGA Starbucks event ending early and we apologize for the inconvenience this might have placed on any commuters. We hope that everyone enjoyed the week as much as we did.

STARBUCKS TRIAL RUN
As you may know, SGA is working hard with Chartwells and Starbucks to look at the possibility of keeping Starbucks open on Saturdays. We are currently having a trial run period, which will continue this Saturday, December 8th, from 9-5pm. We ask that all students try and find time to support this initiative and head over to Starbucks this Saturday.

TEXTBOOK COSTS
We would like to thank everyone for their help supporting the textbook program we are currently a part of with DePaul University. We were able to get numerous students to send letters to their senators regarding the issue. Please find an SGA representative if you are interested in signing our petition!

TWITTER
Tweet, tweet! SGA is now a part of Twitter. Please “follow” us @SXUSGA to get updates about school issues or upcoming events.
