World’s Awkwardest Date Ideas

Don’t check messages at a date either. Not cool.

Valentine’s Day is a day that celebrates love and affection for one’s significant other. On this day, many couples go out for a date, whether it be to the movies, dinner, or both. Most of these dates will turn out fine and without a hitch.

But what about the dates that go bad? Well, that is when you need to know what not to do on a date. Or else, your relationship may be heading south! (And you do not want that to happen.)

Here are several date ideas that you should not do:

1. Don’t take a girl on a date and four hours later  she is the one! If this is your first date, this one is a definite no-no.

2. If you really want to bring a girl/guy to a family party, things might just turn awkward, a little too fast. First off, that just will make your family question you two way too much. And secondly, your date might think you are taking things a little too fast and want to book it out of there. (This will only work out well if you have been dating for a while, mind you!)

3. Making plans, showing up late, and not realizing it is the worst possibly thing you could do. Most first dates should not end up like this. But if you have been dating this person for a while, I am pretty sure you will be deserted faster than you can say ‘Valentine’s Day’.

4. SURPRISE! Let’s go on a date right now, no exceptions! Wait, why would you just make a date with no fair warning? And why did you just show up and tell me now that we are on a date. No matter if this is the first date or way further into a relationship, do not just make a date out of the blue and except the other party to be okay with it. They might have plans and your forcing yourself onto them will just make them walk the other way without a word being said.

So, this Valentine’s Day (and the rest of the year), just keep away from these kinds odd and awkward dates. Remembering an awkward date is something you are going to regret.
