The Cougars wouldn’t let this game go as two clutch kills by seniors Meghan Falsey and Heidi Gregerson led the Cougars to a 26-24 win. With the next set, came another close victory for the Cougars.
The game would go back and forth for much of the end of the game. At 22-23, a service error and another impressive kill by Gregerson would give the Cougars a 22-25 win over Purdue.
The next and final set wouldn’t be so close knit. From the start, the Cougars went on a phenomenal 9-0 run. The Cougars would continue this dominance as they didn’t let the game come closer than seven points.

The secon set was just as competitive as the first as the two teams went at it from start to finish. The outcome would be different as the Cougars went on to win this game at 25-22 to even out the round at 1-1.
