Disneyland feels like it changes every year with attractions, shows, rides and many more.
Although 2023 is unlike any year we have seen as Disney fans with the upcoming changes being made to the park.
Disney fans have a lot to say about the changes in the park, such as Disney bringing back “Star Wars Nite”, “Throwback Nite”, the opening of Toontown as well as bringing new faces to Avengers Campus and the bringing of the Avatar experience.
Brian Raica is a first year student who is a news reporter involved within Xavierite. He is an expert upon Disney and Marvel news.
Raica stated “I feel like the Runaway Railway is an attraction that belongs in Toontown”.
Runaway Railway was first an attraction in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios in March of 2020.
Since the opening, there have been many theme park guests that have loved that ride. In 2021, Disney announced that they will be bringing the loved attraction to Disney’s Toontown in Disneyland.
This attraction will begin the 100th anniversary celebration at Disneyland along with a new look at Toontown itself.
As the Runaway Railway is coming to Disneyland from Disney World, there is also another attraction.
The World of Pandora is also making its way to Disneyland which was announced in 2023.
Pandora opened in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom in May of 2017. Guests that have visited the theme park adored the lights at night which helped the attraction and the world come to life.
The World Of Pandora includes rides and attractions for guests to have a chance to experience riding a Banshee from “Avatar”.
There is also a ride for guests to go through the movie while dining along with the songs that the Navi sang in the film.
Disney isn’t just stopping at attractions for the upcoming year of 2023 too.
Raica continued by saying, “I am glad to see that Avengers Campus is adding characters for limited time meet and greets.”
Along with Disney bringing attractions to the parks, they are also bringing special limited time characters for meet and greets over at Disney’s Avenger’s Campus.
One of the new characters that you could meet is the upcoming Marvel Villain, Kang.
Throughout the year, we will also see many more characters coming to the Disneyland park including Groot from “Guardians of the Galaxy 3”.
There is also characters from Moongirl from the upcoming show “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur”.
Disney’s 100th anniversary celebration this year also added a new World Of Color light show to the Disney California Adventure park for the year of 2023.
The World Of Color light show features many Disney characters by only using lights and water to create the effect.
The new light show reveals to the audience new Disney movies such as Coco, Encanto and many more.
Raica also explained that, “Throwback Nite allows you to party like it’s the opening day of Disneyland, and I am excited to see how people will attend the park for this celebration”.
With the new updates coming to Disneyland in 2023, one of the biggest updates to be introduced is “Throwback Nite”.
This night allows guests to stay after the park closes in order to experience the flashback of what Disney was like in the 50s and 60s.
Guests can take a trip down memory lane to live through the past of Disney with music and entertainment.
