The Xavierite and WXAV 88.3 FM wishes the incoming freshman a warm welcome to Saint Xavier University (SXU).
The Xavierite is the award winning student newspaper of Saint Xavier University. We serve as a platform to keep our SXU community informed on news and events happening on campus. From sports to entertainment, news and opinions, The Xavierite has a little bit of everything.
The Xavierite office is located in the Campus Media Center building, which is on the north side of campus in parking lot 5, next to the softball field, Public Safety, and Human Resources. Our room number is CMC 102.
If you’re interested in Communication, writing, music and art, sports, or sharing your opinion, we want you to consider joining the paper. We are always looking for new student writers, photographers/videographers, graphic designers, social media, and business/promotionally minded students to join our team.
WXAV 88.3FM/WXAV.com is the award winning student radio station of Saint Xavier University. Broadcasting to the south and southwest side of the Chicagoland area on 88.3FM, and streaming live to the world on the TuneIn and Audacy apps, WXAV features the best new and up and coming music in indie/alternative, hip-hop, shoegaze, EDM, jazz, classic rock, along with SXU sports broadcasts, the Windy City Thunderbolts, and so much more!!
