It’s spooky season!! Although It came a little too quickly this year, there are still some great shows to rewatch for some spooky nostalgia! In this article, I am going to prepare you with the best Disney throwback Halloween episodes!
My personal favorite is definitely the That’s So Raven’ episode where Raven and Chelsea turn into cows. It was oddly frightening to me as a child, but it is hilarious and will get you in the Halloween spirit.
Another classic is the Ant Farm episode with the incredible costumes and the all time Halloween classic ‘Calling All Monsters’ song, nothing screams Halloween more than that!
Another sitcom that had an amazing Halloween plot line was Hannah Montana. This episode portrayed Miley Cyrus playing two roles one as Miley Stewart and the other as her cousin from Tennessee. Miley’s cousin is out to get her because she is jealous of her stardom and almost exposes her secret identity due to the striking similarities between the two. It is quite a chaotic episode, but it is very funny and a great watch to bring back all the nostalgia.
An additional Halloween episode to add to your list would have to be Wizards of Waverly Place! The show is already about wizards and magic, but when there are more spooky elements added from the wizarding world the Halloween spirit exudes from the screen! In this episode, when the sub station’s haunted house status is in jeopardy, the Russos take some real haunting creatures from the wizard world to terrify people! Although magic is not being used responsibly and the family does get into a bit of trouble, this episode is a fun watch!
The scariest Halloween episode that has aired on Disney is definitely the “Ghost of 613” on the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The acting and subtle elements of absolute terror gave this episode its special charm. After Zack spent the majority of the episode scaring Cody, Cody devised a plan with the rest of the Tipton crew to get him back. The plan was a success and everyone had a good laugh, but that ghost that they used to scare Zack does surprise them with a scary appearance after the prank is over. The twins were never the same again!
