Ferocious Wolf

by Jorge Pliego

Upon the cliff I stay.

where I see the winter tundra and await the prey.

I see the enemy in open eyesights.

I crave the chase under blindsight heavy skies.

I’m vigilant and ferocious and carry the mark of the lost ones.

My perseverance kills; all you could do is fear.

I wasn’t always the ferocious beast seen on the outside.

I once carried the stride of a beautiful beast on the inside.

For you’ve thrown me once before in a pack of savage wolves.

The moon can’t camouflage you.

It will only sabotage you.

Throwing you into your justful demise.

Then maybe will I see the next sunrise.

Worlds Collide

by Jorge Pliego

Your eyes carry serenity. our eyes collide.

The pulse of our worlds have met clarity.

As I lay my hand on you

I see beauty in your complexion

let me be the sweet sound to your serenity we’ll be each others levity.

Our love under the light of a daunting moon.

and over the sea is a horizon made just for you.

A pair of hearts that lay beside

become two worlds that collide.
