Wide Open Spaces
Driving down an open road
Two lanes of freedom that will never end
Windows rolled down taking in the fresh air
The warmth of the sun comforts me
Miles of farmland are everywhere I turn
I feel happy to be alive
Nature is at its finest
A baby blue sky surrounds me
Not a cloud in sight
Time passes by without a care in the world
The day is starting to fade
A picture perfect sunset is in my view
Beautiful colors paint the sky
As I drive, I think about how wonderful life is
Getting away from the world for a little bit to take in the beauty of nature
I continue to drive
And fade into the sunset with a smile on my face
With Me Always
The silent listener to every conversation
Your presence is felt everyday
In the silence, your voice is heard
You are with me always
The whisper in the wind
The signs that you give, big or small
Amaze me and prove that
You are with me always
My guardian angel
Always watching over me
By my side, day in and day out
