Hey there, everyone!
I’m just going to say two things before I say farewell to you all. One, I am bad at writing letters. Two, I hate saying goodbyes.
During the last four years here at Saint Xavier, I’ve learned a lot. Whether it was in the classroom or from my peers, it feels like I have some preparations for the real world. (But who am I kidding? No one is ever ready for that.)
Sometimes, though, I just wish I could stay another year but the real world is never going to leave and I’ll have to face it eventually. What I’ll miss most graduating from SXU on May 10? My friends, for sure. Some of them, I have known all four years. Others I’ve only known for the last year.
Through thick and thin, each of my friends has been here for me in one way or another in support and I for them. And that’s something that will last a lifetime. Thank you, everyone. (You know who you are. Haha.) But I have also worked here at The Xavierite for the last two years. The office has always had a cast of characters, and it has been fun working with my coworkers.
I’ll miss the rush of everyone trying to hit that deadline. The sass everyone gives off, with some having more sass than others. To you, I say thanks for making work super enjoyable!
And to everyone else that I’ve met at Saint Xavier, thank you!
