This year’s biggest punk festival held in Chicago will be hosted on September 13 through 15. Located at Humboldt Park, this event will feature Fall Out Boy, Blink 182, Motorhead, Blondie, and much more. Along with concerts, there will be a carnival that will have a various amount of rides and food stands. There are also multiple hotels that will be available for concertgoers who are not from Chicago.
This festival will be in its 9 year, created by Mark Riot who thought it was a good idea to create a Chicago punk festival that brought bands in to play for a weekend long show.
This festival was also known to host band reunions that haven’t played in some time. For example in 2006, the Naked Rayguns and Blue Meanies have reunited and this tradition does not seem to slow down throughout the years.
Previous performances include Naked Raygun, 7 Seconds, Rise Against, Weezer, and other punk bands.
