Posted on a MySXU announcement on April 5, the SXU Center for Success is hosting multiple pop up resume reviews throughout the month of April.
The announcement lists the pop up dates as:
Wednesday, April 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. in front of Coffee Cats
Thursday, April 7, from 9 to 11 a.m. in front of McGuire Hall
Monday, April 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. in front of the Butler Reception Room
Tuesday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon in front of the SXU Diner
Wednesday, April 20, from 10 to 11 a.m. in front of Coffee Cats
Wednesday, April 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. in front of the Butler Reception Room
Thursday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to noon in front of the SXU Diner
Johnna Gerona, the Academic and Career Resource Advisor, stated that “Resumes will be reviewed by one of our Academic and Career Resource Advisors: Tatiana Alaraj, Gloria Avalos, Diana Barraza Ontiveros, or Johnna Gerona”.
The Center for Success is hosting these resume reviews not only for “some spring cleaning” as the original MySXU announcement states, but also, as Gerona stated, that the Center for Success’ “goal is to bring our services “on the go” so we can reach more students outside of our office. We hope to make our services more accessible to students by bringing our services outside of the typical office setting”.
Gerona continued, “any future pop-up review resume dates will be posted as time goes on”.
