Technology company Apple hosted their annual September event streamed live on September 10th, 2019. Displaying many Apple products and services such as the Series 5 Apple Watch, the “new” iPad, AppleTV+, and Apple Arcade. The real point of contention on everyone’s mind was the coveted iPhone 11 specifications.
Similar to last year, Apple broke its mainline products into multi-tiers. The world will now be introduced to the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro (available in both Pro and Pro Max sizes) on September 20th.
The biggest difference between models focuses on the camera. While the iPhone 11 sports two 12 megapixels camera, wide and ultra-wide, the iPhone 11 Pro will have a 3 camera system, a first for Apple’s products. The lenses for the iPhone 11 Pro Max operates as a wide function, and ultra-wide function, and a telephoto function. Apple plans on releasing the iPhone 11 Pro phones in Gold, Space Gray, Silver, and Midnight Green models. The iPhone 11 will be released in a slightly larger range of colors including Black, Green, Yellow, Purple, (PRODUCT) RED, and White are all planned for release.
Despite Apple claiming the iPhone 11 will have screen specifications of “1792‑by‑828‑pixel resolution at 326 PPI”, Apple claims that both the front and back-facing cameras will be able to record in 4K video quality. Additionally, Apple claims that the iPhone 11’s battery will last up to 1 hour longer than iPhone XR”, while the iPhone Pro “Lasts up to 5 hours longer than iPhone XS Max”.
The iPhone 11’s pricing will begin at $699, while the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will cost $999 and $1099, respectively.
