Joining The Xavierite.
Are you interested in journalism, writing, interviewing people, design, web development, or advertising? If so, the Xavierite WANTS YOU for its team. We have positions such as: Copy Editor, News Reporter, Sports Reporter, Features Reporter, Opinions Columnist, Web Designer, and Business Manager available. The Xavierite can provide you professional experience, networking opportunities, and help you develop skills that will help you after graduation and beyond. Submitting a Letter to the Editor.
Within our Opinions section, we try to represent the thoughts and opinions of the student body, faculty, and staff of Saint Xavier University. If you feel that The Xavierite didn’t cover a specific story, or you have a criticism or concern regarding our coverage of a particular story, we want you to voice your opinion through a Letter to the Editor.
Please send an email with “Letter to the Editor” in the subject line to thexavieritenewspaper@gmail.com. If you are a student, include your name and major in your email. If you are a staff or faculty member, please provide your name and your title/position at SXU. We are always searching for feedback. All thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated.
Submissions may be edited for content if they contain profanity, libel, spelling and grammatical issues, or other ethical malpractices. The author of the Letter to the Editor will be notified if submission needs to be edited. Letters are printed at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief and Student Editorial Board of The Xavierite.
Submitting a Story Idea.
The Xavierite is always open to story ideas and/or suggestions. Please submit your Press Release or story idea to thexavieritenewspaper@gmail.com. Please include your: Name, Email Address, and/or Phone Number, so that we can follow up with you or your organization.

The Xavierite does accept article submissions from the Saint Xavier student body. Please send an email with “Article Submission” in the subject line to thexavieritenewspaper@gmail.com.
