If you have not heard about it yet, there is an awesome new app that came out for the iPhone. It is called Vine and it is already blowing up.
If you have heard of Instagram, it is basically the same format as that, however instead of posting photos, you can upload short videos instead.
The videos are no more than about 10 seconds or so and they are on a continuous loop.
The app was released at the end of January and is already becoming very popular. This app will be just as popular as Instagram and probably even more so.
The great thing about this app is that you can search for different videos by checking out the different categories.
Some of these categories include “how-to’s”, “remakes”, “pets”, “funny”, “magic”, and “editor’s picks”.
The editor’s picks videos are exactly what they sound like.
They are some of the best videos of the bunch that the editors of Vine haven chosen to feature on their pages.
The app takes incredibly clear videos and the sound is quite amazing. My friend posted a video of a concert he went to. As some of you may know, these videos typically just sound like a lot of noise and you cannot decipher anything that is being said.
However, with Vine, the sound was crystal clear and you could hear everything perfectly.
My favorite part about this app is that you can make some very cool stopmotion videos.
And the best part about this app is that it is completely free!
Like all things great, the app does have some flaws that will hopefully be fixed. Vine absolutely kills your battery.
So if you plan on checking out the videos for a long period of time, be sure that you have a charger handy, because you will definitely need it.
Another downfall is that the videos can take a long time to load if you are not on wi-fi or a 4G network. Luckily, wi-fi is available just about everywhere now.
Unfortunately, the app is only available for iPhones. But as we all know from previous apps, Android is sure enough to get its share in the fun soon enough.
There is an app for Android called VineFlow. However, you cannot upload videos, you can only watch them. You also cannot pick what categories of videos you want to watch, it is all chosen for you at random.
Hey, even if you do not have an iPhone, just borrow your friend’s iPhone and check it out.
This app is a must have for all iPhone users. Go download it right away!
