“The Joe Budden Podcast” is an entertaining podcast that is problematic at times. It’s just a group of friends debating their opinions for a couple hours, but at times they will deliver news that people aren’t talking about.
Now, that wasn’t a plug. Without the JBP, I would’ve never known who Micheal Avenatii was nor that he was in a jail cell.
More importantly, I wouldn’t know he was sitting in the same jail cell Jeffery Epstein was being held in while he was awaiting his trial.
It’s also the same jail cell El Chapo was being held in…
Maybe that’s my fault, but nonetheless this is an issue that I don’t think people are talking about enough.
That could just come from how quickly news is ignored in this day and age, but this seems like something a minimum of two Twitter users would write think pieces about.
If you’re like me and have no idea who Michael Avenatti is, I’ll provide a little background.
According to CNBC, Michale Aventti is a lawyer currently being charged with “threatening to publicize accusations that Nike illegally paid families of college basketball recruits unless the sportswear company paid him $15 million to $25 million to conduct a probe.”
He’s also being charged with “defrauding his whistleblowing client, youth basketball coach Gary Franklin, by concealing a Nike settlement offer.”
However most people know him as the lawyer that represented adult actress Stormy Daniels in 2018 after she claimed the nondisclosure agreement signed in 2006 was invalid. A case that was dismissed and she was ordered to pay Trump’s legal fees.
After this case, Avenatti rose to fame; he declared himself as Trump’s nemesis, and he even went as far to say he would run against Trump in the 2020 election. A little excessive, but we’ve all seen what happens when people gain fame overnight.
They get on social media to bask in their own glory and post corny tweets.
As of January 14th, he’s being held in solitary confinement. Reports say he is being isolated for his safety because he is a high profile attorney.
But I have a theory…
After Epstein committed suicide in this very cell, people began to speculate he was in fact killed because he knew too many dirty secrets about high profile indiviuals.
There are obvious parallels between the two. They both have high profile stats, have a significant connection to Trump, and have slept on the same jail cell bed.
There’s been speculation that the Nike Accusations against Avenatti is political payback for representing Stormy Daniels.
Regardless how Trump and Daniels feel about being involved with this case, this plays a major role in Avenatti’s defense.
It’s jail so the conditions obviously aren’t luxurious, but to say they are mentally and physically breaking Avenatti because he became greedy and threatened Nike over something they could’ve easily denied is ridiculous to me.
