773 Sounds returns this week with a brand new show theme. ‘Nothing but New’. The show will spin nothing but new bands to the program. Producing ‘773 Sounds’ is an insane amount of fun, but sometimes you get into a rut of playing the same bands, genres, or sounds over and over again. We are breaking that!

Amira Jazeera brings a classic late 90s/early 00s pop vibe that blends perfectly with modern sounds of Sabrina Carpenter and Dua Lipa.
Patrick Leary & Thomas Kelleher feature a classic jazz sound of rich melodies, while playing the American songbook and original compositions.
Kacie Brown & the Vision have a great old school R&B sound. Very reminiscent of Brandy, Monica, and Mary J. Blige. She will have you moving in no time.
Will Double S captures the spirit of indie/alternative music, with calls to action. He will make you reflect and hopefully take action
Koin Flip Co. is an emo punk band that turns it to 11 on every song! Listening to them encourages you to find the nearest mosh pit.
jonathan d. valdez is a guitarist and synthesist who creates heavy riffs and catchy hooks. For fans of electronica, EDM, and house.
Heavy Crownz is a south sider, an artist, and a farmer. Growing up in Englewood has inspired him to use his art to uplift others and “plant seeds of positivity” so the community healthier and happier.
Julia Minkin is a singer/songwriter that brings in French inspiration into her music. She’s releasing her debut solo album in 2026.
We’ll also be spinning new music from legendary punk rock band Sludgworth. Sludgworth is releasing their first new record in over 30 years this summer.
