“Chromakopia”, released on Oct. 28, is Tyler, The Creator’s eighth studio album. It was very well received by fans, to no surprise. Ever since I first listened to this album, it’s been on constant repeat, even as I write this.
I love every song on this album, but I particularly enjoyed “Darling, I” the most. Sonically, “Darling, I” instills such a strong feeling of nostalgia. Like listening along to an older sibling or cousin’s music during a drive. It’s a song I can imagine myself playing anywhere at any time.
The rest of the album is equally as great; it has no skips in my opinion. Tyler, The Creator truly lived up to the expectations with these tracks.
The features on this album are incredible, too. My top two favorites are “Sticky” (ft. GloRilla, Sexyy Red, Lil Wayne) and “Like Him” (ft. Lola Young). They’re opposite in sound but both absolutely worth the listen.
