Euphoria season finale: death and disappointment

Posted on February 28, 2022

*spoiler alert*

Say goodbye to “euphoria sunday” because the season two finale premiered and left fans disappointed.

Fans did what they do best and went on twitter to vocalize their complaints and feelings about the last episode.

All the questions left unanswered bc Euphoria writers wrote in Elliot singing for 27 minutes. Ok.

A significant character was killed off, and some scenes in particular seemed to have wasted our time.

That was the most boring finale of all time and it didn’t help they wasted 5 minutes of screen time just for Elliot to play his silly little song

It will be a while until we’re able to see what happens next in the crazed storyline full of teens who all seem to be longing for something in life.

The most shocking storyline of all from this season was the love triangle between Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie), Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi), and Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney).

Cassie and Maddy were best friends, until Cassie slept with Maddy’s toxic ex-boyfriend, Nate. Maddy received some justice by bashing Cassie’s head against a wall and leaving her with a bloody face during a school play that aired out every character’s dirty laundry.

Fans wanted to see the girls fight it out a little more but instead a loving character died.

The Euphoria twitter page announced that the show was renewed for a third season although we are unsure when the exact premiere date is.

Some fans are speculating that it will premiere sometime in 2024, and that has already made fans unhappy, me included.

I am definitely going to miss the glittered makeup, hearing Labrinth’s harmonies in almost every scene, and of course Miss Maddy Perez’ iconic aura.

Till 2024, I guess?

The first two seasons of Euphoria are now streaming on HBOMax.
