*Programming Note*
Hi everyone,
Peter Kreten here, Director of Student Media at Saint Xavier. You may have noticed that over the past six weeks or so, WXAV has been experiencing a number of technical issues. From dead air to songs freezing while playing, it’s safe to say that WXAV isn’t sounding like its normal self. Unfortunately, our on-air computer system is failing. This is the cause of our on-air problems.
I am happy to report that a new on-air computer system has been ordered. This new system should, hopefully, be installed within the next 2-3 weeks. In the meantime, WXAV may experience periods of technical issues. We sincerely apologize for these issues, and will be working as quickly as possible to get these problems resolved.
