How to De-Stress from Your Finals!

studying-1024x682Summer vacation is right around the corner and with that so are finals.
Here I will give you a few simple ways to manage stress during finals week.

First begin a week or two in advance and create a study schedule for yourself.
Once doing so make sure you have all the notes you will need and begin making flash cards and/or outlines to help you.
Avoid having caffeine if you can during finals. Replace it with water. Caffeine you see will often have you feeling more stressed and keep you from getting a good night of sleep.
Getting enough sleep is another great stress reducer. If your body doesn’t get enough sleep it will weaken your immune system, having you prone to getting sick.
Eat as healthy as you can. Eating healthy will keep you energized to study and having your body feeling great.
Try and study for at least one hour at a time. This will keep you from getting frustrated and having headaches.

Try and take little 10 to 15 minute breaks and continue again. Lastly exercising is a good way to burn off stress. It will help you become full of energy for your tests and studying. With these simple tips, you’ll reduce your stress levels and ace those tests.
